The WH-IRH is the heart of an IR system. A single hub is capable of supporting up to 15 targets and four emitters. Additionally, a Wired Home IR system can be expanded by paralleling hubs for a complete whole house control system with an almost unlimited amount of zones. Built into the WH-IRH is an LED for confirmation of signal to reduce troubleshooting time. Also built-in is a status power port which is connected to a 12V trigger or a 12 VDC power supply connected to the switched electrical outlet of an AV device. Power is provided by the Wired Home WH-PS 12 VDC, 500 mA power supply (sold separately), but a 12 VDC, 2A power supply is recommended for extremely long runs.
